UK-based RHC Lifting has completed the production and supply of a 2t safe working load (SWL) overhead travelling crane for a safety equipment manufacturer located near Bath, England.

The crane features a 6m span and a height of lift of 3.5m.

It includes a freestanding gantry structure measuring 10m in length, supported by three legs on each side of the runway.

The installation incorporates a SWF Krantechnik power travel chain hoist, as well as a remote control system from AUTEC to manage operations.

The power travel chain hoist provided is equipped to handle loads up to 5t and supports efficient load movement.

The company said: “Our last crane of the year has just finished production for a safety equipment manufacturer near Bath!”

RHC Lifting, which joined the WH Scott Group in 2024, has operated in the United Kingdom since 2001 as a supplier and manufacturer of lifting equipment.

The company delivers design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance services for material-handling needs across various industries.

The company works with international suppliers to provide lifting solutions tailored to specific business requirements.

In September, RHC Lifting completed the installation of four swing jibs at a packaging facility in Wiltshire, England.

Each jib included an SWF Krantechnik chain hoist and a reel handling device, allowing for the lifting of rolls from pallets, rotating them by 90 degrees, and positioning them on machines. The new system replaced previous manual handling methods at the site.
