RHC Lifting has completed the installation of four new swing jibs at a packaging facility in Wiltshire, England.
Each jib is equipped with an SWF Krantechnik chain hoist and a reel handling device, facilitating the efficient lifting of rolls from pallets, their rotation by 90°, and smooth loading onto machines. This installation effectively addresses previous manual handling challenges at the plant, significantly enhancing safety and reducing the risk of injuries.
RHC Lifting, founded in 2001, has established itself as a key supplier and manufacturer of lifting equipment in the UK.
The company offers a comprehensive range of services from design and manufacturing to installation and maintenance. With over two decades of expertise, it collaborates with leading suppliers to deliver material-handling solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of businesses across various industries.
In a recent development, RHC Lifting has relocated its headquarters from Yate to Wickwar. This move has doubled its workshop area to 38,800ft2 and expanded its office capacity.
The relocation marks an important milestone in the ongoing growth of RHC Lifting within the WH Scott Group, which acquired the company in late 2024. The acquisition aims to broaden service offerings and enhance capabilities.
WH Scott Group has an experience spanning over 125 years in lifting equipment, testing, inspection, and certification services across sectors such as construction, manufacturing, and energy.
Earlier this year, RHC Lifting announced the acquisition of Premier Lifting and Safety. This move is part of RHC Lifting’s effort to expand its market presence under the WH Scott Group’s umbrella.
Premier Lifting and Safety Limited has been a significant supplier to RHC Lifting for many years and will now become an integral part of the group’s operations.
