Columbus McKinnon Corporation (CMCO) has announced an expansion of its Crosby Easy-Loc bolt securement system, adding 16 new capacities.

According to the company, the expanded offering is now compatible with Crosby G-2130, G-2140, and G-2160 shackles.

The Crosby Easy-Loc system is designed to replace traditional cotter pins, enabling faster and toolless assembly of shackle bolts.

CMCO states that the product can be installed with one hand in three steps, cutting assembly time by up to 90% compared to conventional bolt, nut, and cotter pin methods.

The design aims to improve safety and ergonomics for users during installation and removal.

The company has highlighted several features of the Easy-Loc system, including its patented corrosion-resistant construction and suitability for demanding work environments.

According to CMCO, the system is also DROPS compatible, aiming to reduce the risk of dropped components during installation or operation.

Larger sizes feature integrated handles intended to help with safer and easier handling.

CMCO reported that the new capacities have been introduced for the G-2130E shackles in the following sizes: 25t, 35t, 55t, 85t, 120t, and 150t.

For the G-2140E shackles, the additional capacities are 30t, 40t, 55t, 85t, 120t, 150t, and 175t.

The Easy-Loc bolt system is compatible with both new and existing shackles already in use.

CMCO develops and produces intelligent motion solutions for material handling. The company’s product range includes lifting hardware, hoists and cranes, precision conveyance, automation, and linear motion systems.

CMCO supplies customers across a range of end markets focused on lifting, positioning, securing, and moving materials.
