UK-based JT Cranes has deployed a Jekko JF545 mini crane to install a new overhead crane and rail beams at a Lifting Systems facility.
The project required work in a restricted indoor area, demanding careful logistical planning and precise lifting operations due to limited space and the weight of the crane components.
The Jekko JF545 mini crane, an articulated crawler crane, was used for its capacity to manoeuvre effectively in confined environments while delivering lifting capabilities similar to those of larger knuckle boom trucks.
The installation was completed in line with safety standards and operational requirements, enabling the project to move forward as planned.
The company said: “Working indoors requires careful planning and controlled lifting at every stage. With the right setup, everything came together smoothly.
“Another job completed safely, efficiently, and exactly as planned.”
Lifting Systems supplies certified lifting equipment and gantry cranes to various UK industries, adhering to safety and compliance standards.
JT Cranes, based on the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire border, has focused on mini crane hire, contract lifting, and sales since 2006, expanding its offerings beyond its original repair and servicing business established in 1981.
The company continues to provide lifting solutions and related services throughout the UK.
Recently, JT Cranes used its Jekko SPX532 mini crane in the company’s workshop to handle a lorry-mounted crane during a king post bush replacement.
The maintenance procedure involved removing worn components, which were replaced with new parts to ensure ongoing equipment reliability.
In January this year, Lifting Systems completed the installation of a 15t overhead gantry crane at Burnetts Manufacturing’s facility in Northampton, England.
