UK-based company Morgan Marine has completed the installation of a 5t overhead gantry crane at its laminating area as part of the company’s ongoing investment and modernisation programme.
The installation, carried out this week, is designed to improve safety and streamline materials-handling processes at the South Wales manufacturing site.
The crane is an ABUS unit, and the new system is expected to boost operational efficiency and support the company’s expansion plans.
The firm cited the upgrade as a step towards improving workplace conditions for its staff and facilitating the handling of heavier materials in daily operations.
The company said: “The new crane will improve safety, material handling, and operational efficiency while supporting our future growth plans.
“A huge thank you to everyone involved in delivering the project safely and successfully.”
