Nordic Drives Group has completed the installation of a new overhead crane for a client in Sjælland, Denmark.
The crane offers a 5t lifting capacity and a 17.4m span, enabling heavy lifts while streamlining workshop operations.
Midtjydsk Elektro, a company within the group, handled the delivery and installation of the equipment.
The company said: “Our team at Midtjydsk Elektro recently had the pleasure of delivering and installing a new overhead crane for one of our clients in Sjælland, Denmark.”
Nordic Drives Group specialises in selling and servicing electric motors and frequency converters.
The company was established to bring together sector-leading businesses, while retaining an independent approach within a broader organisational framework.
The group’s management, owners, and board are made up of industry professionals committed to growing its presence in the sector.
Additionally, Aalestrup Elektro, a part of the Nordic Drives Group, has entered a dealership agreement with Spanish gearbox producer Cidepa-Sincron, covering Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
This partnership enables Nordic Drives Group to supply Cidepa-Sincron gearboxes to customers across these territories.
The local central warehouse and on-site assembly at Aalestrup enable short lead times for the delivery of the European-manufactured gearboxes.
The arrangement aims to address the operational requirements of industries in the Nordic region, where uptime and mechanical reliability are critical.
Companies within Nordic Drives can use the agreement to strengthen their local presence and further streamline gearbox supply and distribution across their markets.
