Socorom has announced plans to install a new overhead rolling crane at its Brasov facility, targeting an increase in lifting capacity to 40t across two hooks.
The company also intends to introduce a sandblasting cabin and a painting cabin, each measuring 4m wide, 4m high and 15m long, as part of its ongoing investment programme for the year.
Socorom states that this equipment will meet current environmental as well as health and safety regulations.
The firm expects the integration of this machinery to support its service capabilities.
Socorom confirmed the receipt of the first new equipment as part of its planned investments for 2025.
The company said: “At the end of 2025, we promised that this year will be one of huge investments and we are happy to make the reception of the first equipment.
“We are eager to integrate this new equipment not only because we will be able to deliver better services to our customers but also because this equipment integrates the latest Environment but also Health & Safety Regulations.”
Established in 2006 in Brasov, Romania, Socorom operates on a site covering 30,000m², with 10,000m² of covered production space.
The firm employs over 50 personnel directly involved in production and manufactures products for industries, including mining, construction, recycling, oil and gas, nuclear and heavy industry.
Socorom specialises in manual and semi-automatic welding processes involving single-layer or multi-layer techniques across its range of industrial applications.
