Germany-based Scheffer Krantechnik has completed the installation of nine crane systems for Mick, a Croatian company.
Mick specialises in the wholesale and retail of reproduction materials of both ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy.
The delivery included four load-stabilised cranes equipped with magnet lifting technology designed for pipe transportation and three single-girder overhead cranes featuring directional load stabilisation.
The remaining two units are pillar jib cranes for flexible workstation use.
The load-stabilised cranes are customised to match the transported goods, suspension requirements, and control needs.
The single-girder overhead cranes incorporate technology that stabilises loads during transit to reduce sway and improve handling precision.
This feature contributes in optimising material flow and increased internal transport speed. The rope tensioning mechanism enhances both reliability and process efficiency.
Scheffer Krantechnik said: “Our cranes are ready to help our customer efficiently handle reproduction materials made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.”
Scheffer Krantechnik has been active for over six decades in developing, manufacturing, installing, and maintaining crane and transport solutions worldwide from its base in Sassenberg, Münsterland.
Scheffer recently commissioned a fully automated hot-dip galvanising plant into operation for Marmara-Siegener Galvaniz in Kocaeli, Turkey.
The new fully automated facility features two crane systems each with a capacity of 3,200kg.
The company also provided digital services that included extensive data logging and analysis to provide operational transparency.
