Rosti Group has completed the installation of new overhead cranes at its production site in Sweden, aiming to improve workplace safety and streamline operations.

The upgrade equips each production hall with three cranes designed to lift moulding tools, machine components and other heavy items, with each crane supporting up to 10t per hall.

The equipment covers the entire operational area, allowing teams to conduct lifts precisely where needed and reducing the reliance on manual handling.

The newly installed cranes are intended to reduce manual lifting requirements among staff, contributing to safer working conditions and supporting more efficient workflows during tool changes, equipment maintenance and installations.

The installation was carried out by Rosti’s team members Murat Haxha and Markus Blomdahl at the production halls.

The company reports that installation took place in conjunction with ongoing site developments.

Employees are currently undergoing training to operate the cranes safely from their first use.

The company said: “Installation has progressed seamlessly alongside our ongoing site development, and our teams are now receiving comprehensive training to ensure safe and effective operation from day one.

“This upgrade is yet another step in strengthening Rosti’s operational performance while caring for the people who make it all possible.”
