Australia-based Redfern Flinn Lifting Equipment has completed the installation of an articulated jib crane and a monorail system at a healthcare facility in Newcastle, New South Wales.

The installation supports the removal of two compressor motors that are positioned in locations with challenging access and assists with servicing an extrusion machine used onsite.

The project’s design incorporates a spring balancer jib crane that holds pneumatic tooling, enabling maintenance teams to carry out necessary servicing procedures.

Founded in 1977, Redfern Flinn provides lifting and materials handling solutions for businesses across sectors, with branches in Sydney, Melbourne, and Newcastle.

The company handles the design, manufacture, and supply of industrial cranes and hoists, as well as maintenance, repair, and inspection services available throughout the year.

The company’s engineering team collaborated with the client to design, construct and install a system integrated within the facility’s existing operations while meeting safety and compliance requirements.

The installation forms part of Redfern Flinn’s ongoing activity in providing tailored lifting systems for industrial clients.
