Australia-based crane manufacturer Modular Cranes has completed the delivery of three overhead cranes to Queensland’s Fraser Coast region.

The shipment, part of a larger order, includes two five-ton SG cranes and one 15-ton SG crane, featuring components from Novocrane.

The cranes will be used in a new manufacturing facility being constructed for the Queensland state government.

The latest delivery is part of a larger commitment by Modular Cranes to supply a total of 12 overhead cranes.

Each crane is equipped with advanced features such as LED lighting, radio control, a distance measuring laser, and large load displays.

In addition, the cranes will also feature crane-to-crane synchronisation in tandem mode and DWP devices, enhancing operational efficiency.

Modular Cranes, in a LinkedIn post, said: “2nd lot of 3 cranes that we’ve delivered to the Fraser coast region Qld. Our valued client is constructing a large manufacturing facility for the state Gov. 2nd load containing 2 x 5t S.G and 1 x 15t S.G.

“All cranes are fitted with our loyal partners Novocrane components.”

Modular Cranes is a family-owned business providing lifting solutions across major Australian cities, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Tasmania.

Recently, Modular Cranes successfully supplied and installed a 5-tonne overhead crane with a 17.6m span for a fabrication company in Dandenong, Victoria, Australia.

The project encompassed design, manufacturing, installation, and testing, completed with a focus on precision and safety.

The new crane system is expected to enhance material handling efficiency within the company’s workshop, facilitating improved production workflows.
