McCoy Engineering (Hull) has completed the design, manufacture, and installation of yellow jib cranes at its workshop in Kingston upon Hull, England.
The company’s engineering team developed these cranes to support lifting operations involving heavier components during their daily activities. Each jib crane, produced in-house, supports a safe working load of 500kg.
According to the company, the installation aims to increase both the efficiency and safety of material handling inside the facility.
McCoy Engineering aims to enhance its internal workshop operations by customising the cranes to meet the demands of a fast-paced engineering environment.
The company said: “Investing in the right equipment helps us maintain the high standards we deliver across every project.”
Founded in 1993, McCoy Engineering operates as a privately owned structural steel and metal fabrication company. They provide design, fabrication, and installation services for commercial, industrial, and public projects within Yorkshire and across the UK.
With four decades of experience, the business serves various sectors, including education, residential construction, and large-scale industrial developments, supplying bespoke steelwork and fabrication solutions to clients ranging from contractors to homeowners.
Last month, McCoy Engineering finalised the design and manufacture of a galvanised cooling tower frame and a galvanised pump skid frame for Vistech Cooling Systems.
The company fabricated both structures to meet the operational requirements specified by the client, focusing on durability and corrosion resistance for use in challenging environments. The process included all stages from initial concept to project completion.
