Ketten Wälder has launched the cromox CDAW-F swivel lifting point (female version), designed for use in sectors where hygiene control and corrosion resistance are operational requirements.
The product is intended for environments such as food and beverage processing, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, water treatment, and marine and offshore applications.
The CDAW-F can be fitted directly to an existing bolt on lifting loads, provided the bolt meets the specified standards.
The company reports that the CDAW-F lifting point features a 360° rotation and 180° swivel, enabling automatic alignment with the direction of pull from slings or chains.
Ketten claimed that this design enhances safety and handling efficiency in all operations, while also minimizing handling time and improving safety during lifting tasks.
Manufactured from Grade 60 AISI 318LN Duplex stainless steel, the CDAW-F is compliant with EN 1677-1 and has a safety factor of 4. The device is available in eight versions, offering working load limits from 0.5 to 10 tonnes.
In operational settings, the CDAW-F is used to lift processing equipment and tanks in food and beverage plants, and to handle centrifuges and cleanroom systems in pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities.
Its specification also accommodates offshore scenarios where resistance to salt spray and aggressive chemicals is necessary.
Ketten has increased inventory levels at warehouses in Germany, the UK, and the US. The company confirmed that direct shipments from its headquarters are intended to ensure short lead times and provide regional support.
Ketten Wälder CEO Franz Wälder said: “The CDAW-F continues our mission to deliver stainless-steel lifting equipment that performs reliably in the most demanding conditions – whether that means high corrosion resistance, strict hygiene regulations, or 24/7 offshore use.”
The CDAW-F will be on display at LiftEx 2025, organised by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association, on 18–19 November 2025 at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
Ketten Wälder, established in 1948, supplies stainless-steel lifting products under the cromox brand for industrial, maritime, and hygiene-focused operations.
