Industrial Training International (ITI) is hosting a Hoisting Excellence Summit in Texas, US, on 7-9 February 2023.

The event is designed for hoisting and mobile equipment professionals in the following fields: crane and equipment, learning and development, safety and risk management, and executive leadership.

Speakers include Todd Harding, rigging engineering operations manager at Bechtel; John Manes, senior equipment Manager at Kiewit; Kary Meadows, training manager, Barnhart Crane & Rigging; Heath Hooker, mechanical maintenance supervisor, Nucor Steel; and Trina Baughman, Liebherr’s product manager, digital services.

There will be a range of talks and round tables, including the following: Implementing World-Class Hoisting and Mobile Equipment Procedures, Under the VR Crane Sim Hood, Conducting Risk Assessments on Major Projects and Lifts, Accepting Technology in the Rigging Industry, and Why and How Every Organisation Needs an Apprenticeship Programme.

Companies represented at the event include the likes of Shell and Exxon Mobil, while The Crosby Group and Mazzella are among the sponsors.

Attendees can turn up in person for one price, or virtually for around half that cost.
