Granada installed two overhead cranes, each on 70m gantry systems and with capacities of 3 tonnes. As Granada managing director, Andy Cantrell, comments, the 13.2m span cranes are highly versatile and ideal for use in the food packaging industry. He says: “Benefiting from pendant control, these cranes allow the operator to use the dual speed control and the inclusion of dual speed inverters to ensure smooth cross and long travel motions is standard with Granada products.”
