Harold Potter has manufactured, delivered, and installed a new 2t overhead travelling crane at an undisclosed client’s workshop in the UK.
The system, designed with a 2t safe working load, features a 7m span, a 14m gantry, and a 4m lifting height aimed at supporting the workshop’s lifting requirements.
According to the company, the crane is equipped with a power busbar, pendant control, and a radio remote control to provide flexibility and control when moving loads.
Following installation, Harold Potter carried out full testing and certification of the system.
The company said: “The crane is fitted with power busbar, pendant control and radio remote control, giving the operator flexibility when positioning loads.
“The complete installation was fully tested and certified by Harold Potter.”
Harold Potter supplies a wide range of lifting equipment, including overhead cranes, gantry cranes, goliath and semi-goliath cranes, along with swing jibs and lifting and spreading beams.

Earlier this month, Harold Potter installed a 12m runway beam and a new electrical power supply system for a client in Ilkeston, England.
The upgrade was designed to allow the customer’s existing crane to operate along the entire length of the new runway beam.
As part of the project, Harold Potter removed the current hoist from its original position and reinstalled it on the updated runway beam. This approach enabled the customer to continue using its existing lifting equipment while benefiting from the upgraded infrastructure.
