Eurocrane Netherlands has completed the production of two 90t Eurocrane EW912 open barrel winches and one 40t auxiliary winch, which are scheduled for shipment to Africa.
The equipment is designed for use in demanding environments, with a lifting height of 29.1m and stepless variable lifting speeds ranging from 0.5m to 5m per minute on the main winches.
The project also includes two pairs of GB4020 bogie end carriages and electrical component sets required for assembling overhead cranes with a span of 12.8m.
Each unit features protective covers and corrosion resistance achieved through a C4 grade paint system.
The winches conform to FEM/ISO 2m/M5 duty class standards developed for heavy-duty operations.
Eurocrane’s phase 1 factory manufactures more than 600 open barrel winches annually, with capacities varying between 25t and 650t across different duty ratings.
The company states that all systems are produced according to European safety regulations.
Eurocrane Netherlands general manager Roland Hessels said: “From concept to engineering and design, manufacturing and assembly, testing to finished product. Full technical responsibility.”
