COSE, a Ukraine-based industrial machinery manufacturing company, has recently completed the installation of two overhead travelling cranes for a power engineering firm.
These installations aim to support production operations in the sectors of heat power engineering, water supply, and wastewater treatment. The project features a single-girder underslung crane with a safe working load (SWL) of three tonnes and a double-girder underslung crane with an SWL of 3.2 tonnes.
A notable aspect of this project is the implementation of a conductor rail system for powering the crab of the double-girder crane. This non-standard power supply solution eliminates the need for cable supply along the C-rail profile, thus reducing cable sagging and minimising the risk of contact with technological equipment within the workshop.
COSE has undergone a brand consolidation by merging its PTE and PTE-CRANE divisions to form the “COSE” brand, aiming to offer their products internationally and unify industry solutions under one name.
Under this brand, COSE offers lifting and transportation equipment and components, energy transmission solutions for moving mechanisms, as well as installation and maintenance services.
In recent developments, COSE announced the manufacture of a 25-ton capacity lifting clamp designed specifically for handling wind turbine blades. This clamp can be mounted on the hook suspension of lifting machinery that meets specific lifting capacity requirements.
Earlier in the year, COSE introduced a mobile gantry crane with a lifting capacity of 5 tonnes. This crane incorporates modern technical solutions such as height adjustment through a hydraulic system powered by hydraulic cylinders and full rotation capability for high manoeuvrability in confined spaces.
Additionally, it can operate on flat or uneven surfaces and utilise a generator set for areas lacking stationary power supply. The mobile gantry crane is employed at service stations to facilitate vehicle maintenance by efficiently lifting and moving heavy components and equipment.
