CMC Rolbruggen has delivered an overhead crane equipped with two Street Cranes’ ZX Hoists for a client located in Lokeren, Belgium.

Street electric wire rope hoists (ZX) are designed to offer lifting capacities up to 80t.

The ZX hoists features a gearbox brake, double band rope guide, torque-arm overload device, hoist coupling portal and external removable fan-cooled motors.

These features aim to facilitate maintenance and support safe, reliable operation in industrial lifting applications.

CMC Rolbruggen said: “Yesterday, our team proudly delivered a high-quality overhead crane to our customer in Lokeren. This installation is equipped with two Street Crane ZX Hoists, which guarantees reliability and top performance.”

The ZX hoist, first launched in the late 1990s, has become the Street Cranes’ most distributed product and is used in a range of industries globally. The latest version includes updates to its operational functions.

CMC Rolbruggen acts as the official distributor in Belgium for the British hoist manufacturer Street Crane.

The company entered the overhead crane construction market with a team led by co-owner Cederique Claeys.

Appreciating the installation work done by the company, Street Crane Europe regional account manager Anthony Nuttall said: “Great work by Cederique Claeys and all the CMC team.”

CMC Rolbruggen delivers lifting systems tailored to industry needs as well as provides post-installation support.

Its personnel include metal fabricators and technical specialists with experience relevant to the overhead crane sector.

CMC emphasises its collaboration-centred approach with clients, positioning itself as both service provider and partner.

The company maintains ongoing access to developments in overhead crane technology through its relationship with Street Crane Technology.

In July this year, UK-based Lloyds Beal installed a 5,000kg overhead gantry crane equipped with a Street Crane ZX wire rope hoist for D Hughes Doors.
