Belgium-based company CALLU has increased its workshop lifting capabilities by installing three new overhead cranes at its facility this month.
The additions include a 5t crane and two cranes with 10t capacities, allowing the company to manage single lifts of up to 20t.
The installation enables the team to manage larger prefabrication tasks and mechanical overhauls, supporting its on-site operations, stated the company.
The company said: “Excited to share a major upgrade in our workshop! Starting this month, we’ve added three brand-new overhead cranes: one with 5t capacity, two with 10t capacity.
“We’ve already put them to a test on two urgent projects with success!
“These investments are an important step in our expansion and reinforce our commitment to reliable and short delivery terms.”
CALLU has already used the newly installed equipment on two recent projects.
The company provides a range of industrial services, including welding, piping, mobilisations, ship repair and mechanical work.
CALLU also offers mechanical services such as rigging, installation and maintenance of generators, hydraulic systems and related components.
The company said it emphasises safety integration in all procedures and highlights the importance of operating sustainably with attention to waste reduction and environmental responsibility.
Earlier this year, the company announced it secured a 2,500m2 workshop site with water access near Antwerp city centre and direct road links to foreign ports after over two years of negotiations.
