Brady & Morris Engineering has commissioned multiple overhead cranes using components supplied by Street Crane for a packaging materials manufacturer in North India, with the equipment intended to handle polyfilm rolls within the customer’s facility.
According to Brady & Morris, the electric overhead travelling (EOT) cranes were customised to match the operational requirements provided by the manufacturer and to address material movement for polyfilm rolls.
The installation and commissioning were carried out to integrate the cranes into the customer’s workflow.
Brady & Morris said the customised cranes aim to reduce material handling time and meet the client’s safety requirements.
The project scope included adaptations to crane design to suit the specific handling needs for polyfilm rolls.
In July this year, Street Crane launched a redesigned website and an expanded interactive portal targeted at its global distributor network.
The updated digital platforms provide access to detailed product information, customer support resources and company news and industry updates.
Street Crane stated that it specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of overhead cranes and hoists and operates manufacturing facilities at its headquarters in the High Peak, UK.
The company distributes products through a network of more than 100 official distributors worldwide.
Street Crane described its project process as beginning with consultation, followed by concept development and 3D modelling, planning and coordination with stakeholders, installation oversight, quality checks and final inspection before handover.
The company said post‑installation services and ongoing maintenance are provided through its sister company, Street Crane Express.
