Türkiye-based automation machinery manufacturing company Auto Crane has completed scheduled work on monorail and overhead cranes for a mining sector client.
The project involved maintenance, repair, and operational testing of cranes with a range of lifting capacities.
Technicians carried out replacements of components, including hooks, pulleys, bearings, drums, and wire ropes.
The team also manufactured and fitted new rope guides, followed by their adjustment to ensure correct operation, Auto Crane stated on its LinkedIn page.
In the LinkedIn post, the company said: “We have successfully completed the maintenance, repair, and testing of monorail and overhead cranes with various lifting capacities for our client, the leading company in the mining industry.”
Further tasks included the maintenance of gearboxes responsible for hoisting and travel functions, along with oil changes as required.
Brake systems underwent inspection and repair, while workers renewed buffers, dust brushes, cable lines, and trolley systems.
Adjustments were also made to drive mechanisms, and staff inspected rails and travel paths, refurbishing them where necessary, said the company.
Deflection checks, as well as static and dynamic load testing, formed part of the process to confirm operational readiness.
