ABUS Levage France has completed the installation of two ELS overhead cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 10t and a span of 28,240mm, at a facility in Goxwiller, France.

The client operates in the sector of physical protection for sensitive sites.

By implementing these cranes, the company expects to streamline its handling processes and maintain operational safety.

The company said: “This installation makes it possible to optimise handling flows while guaranteeing safety, performance and reliability on a daily basis.

“Thank you to our client for their trust, as well as to our sales and technical teams for their professionalism and commitment throughout the project.”

ABUS Levage France is based in Nancy and functions as the French arm of ABUS Kransysteme, a German manufacturer specialising in standard overhead cranes.

Established in 1986, the subsidiary supplies lifting equipment such as overhead cranes, winches, and jib cranes.

The company manufactures products at three production facilities located in Germany, employing standardised processes and development teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations, including FEM standards.

The engineering department at ABUS Levage France handles needs assessment and product selection through a database of standard parts.

The company states that it focuses on providing lifting solutions tailored to operational requirements rather than offering equipment for individual applications.

Last month, Hollandia incorporated lifting solutions from ABUS Crane Systems to strengthen operations at its facility in Krimpen aan den IJssel, the Netherlands.

The installation included various crane systems designed to manage the requirements of handling heavy steel components.
