Jige International has installed overhead cranes supplied by ABUS Levage France at its new facility in Longeville, France.
The development adds 5,200m² to the company’s operational footprint, divided into four covered halls.
Three of these halls have been allocated to structural integration, manufacturing and final assembly.
The new site represents an expansion to Jige International’s existing manufacturing capabilities.
According to the company, all four halls will be fitted with recently introduced overhead cranes designed for both tandem and independent operations.
Among the equipment installed is a system featuring two bridges, each with a 12.5t capacity. This arrangement allows for the handling of the company’s heaviest Rotator structures, which weigh up to 18t.
Jige International stated the investment is expected to improve daily productivity, enhance operational flexibility, and support workplace safety at the facility.
ABUS Levage France, a subsidiary of Germany-based ABUS Kransysteme, supplied the crane systems for the expansion.
The French subsidiary specialises in the provision and installation of a variety of lifting solutions, including overhead cranes, jib cranes, HB systems, light gantry cranes, hoists, and winches.
Its products are manufactured in Germany and meet industry standards such as those outlined by the European Materials Handling Federation, along with CE requirements.
Jige International manufactures road recovery and towing vehicles and is headquartered in the Grand Est (Lorraine) region.
The company joined the American group Miller Industries in 1996, linking it with other recovery equipment brands, including Century, Holmes, and Vulcan.
Its activities focus on producing tow trucks, wreckers, and specialised vehicle recovery solutions for both business and municipal customers.
In July 2026, ABUS Levage France finalised the commissioning of a new lifting system for a client, intended to improve daily load management and support workplace safety.
