Change in Konecranes Leadership Team

Konecranes has appointed Christine George as executive VP, Corporate Strategy & Business Development, and member of Konecranes Leadership Team, starting in April, 2024.


George has held various leadership positions in global organizations within strategy, business development, transformation and operations. She joins Konecranes from Seqens, where she intervened in the position of Senior Transformation Leader. 

Her previous positions include CEO and Chair of the Board at Ergosup (hydrogen technology start-up), Vice President of Strategy at Air Liquide, and other leadership positions at Air Liquide.

Juha Pankakoski, Executive Vice President, Port Solutions, and for the time being, Executive Vice President, Technologies

Christine George, Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Business Development

Anneli Karkovirta, Executive Vice President, People & Culture

Sirpa Poitsalo, Executive Vice President, General Counsel

In addition, Minna Aila will join Konecranes as Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Brand in July, 2024.
