The LiftEx Regional event will take place at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney, Australia, on 24-25th May 2023.
Leea said: “Lifting professionals will come together for the two-day event that will include: a conference, delivering the latest thinking from expert speakers on the future of lifting, and addressing issues relating to staffing, compliance and business practices; an expo, for professionals and enthusiasts to learn and discover new opportunities in our constantly evolving industry; and an evening reception, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to network in a superb setting overlooking the harbour, with awards and recognition for regional members.”

Day one will comprise a full programme of industry content, an optional tour of the HMAS Vampire, followed by the evening networking reception, while on day two there will be important announcements exclusive to the event.

The Leea Australia and New Zealand Regional Council is behind the event.

Justin Boehm, regional manager for Australia and New Zealand, Leea Regional Council, said the event is “going to be very exciting, with a host of speakers focusing on the future of the lifting industry and what that will look like in the next ten years to come.

“We're really homing in on where the industry is going to be in ten years’ time, what kind of people will be working in this industry and what will the equipment look like. It's going to be an exciting two-day event and we will be making a lot of announcements that have stemmed out of the Regional Council. It's really important that all the members get along because this has been a long time coming for them.”

The 2022 flagship LiftEX event was held in Aberdeen, Scotland, while the 2023 event will take place in Liverpool.
