Hoist UK has completed the manufacture, supply, and installation of two steel mobile gantries for an undisclosed client.

Each gantry has a rated capacity of 250kg and provides a span of 3m between wheel centres.

The gantry systems offer a height of 4.5m under the beam and are intended to offer a flexible lifting solution.

Both gantries are equipped with Verlinde Eurochain VX electric chain hoists, operating on a 230V single-phase connection and mounted on push trolleys.

The hoists are pendant controlled, and each gantry includes a 16A 2P+E blue 230V plug to facilitate operation.

For manoeuvrability, each gantry is fitted with two swivel braked castors and two fixed castors.

According to Hoist UK, the company’s team carried out both the manufacturing of the gantry structures and the installation work.

The systems were built at Hoist UK’s facilities and tailored to meet the client’s requirements.

The company said: “Another example of our in-house manufacturing and installation capabilities, delivering a lifting solution designed around the customer’s specific requirements.”

Hoist UK, established in 2006 by Tony Dickson and Paul Jordan, initially began as a distributor for Verlinde, a French lifting equipment brand.

Since then, the company has expanded its operations, now offering design, manufacturing, and installation services for a variety of lifting and handling systems.

Its offerings span overhead crane systems, electric chain hoists, performer winches, shackles, and related products for both industrial and entertainment sectors.

The company provides services ranging from technical consultation to the delivery and installation of lifting equipment.

Hoist UK supplies its products and services not only throughout the UK but also to international markets, serving a range of different sectors.

In August 2026, Hoist UK supplied four Verlinde Eurochain VX EX electric chain hoists that are configured for operation in ATEX Zone 21 hazardous environments.
