France-based lifting and handling equipment manufacturer Verlinde has appointed Lootah Lemmens as the official dealer for its Stagemaker range in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
The move allows the UAE-based company to extend its professional hoisting solutions to the entertainment and live events sector, alongside its existing services in traditional industries.
Since 2006, Lootah Lemmens has been delivering overhead cranes, gantry systems, jib cranes, and hoist units across the UAE and the broader GCC.
With an in-house engineering and manufacturing facility in Umm Al Quwain, the company has been offering durable and reliable lifting systems.
It serves industries such as oil and gas, metal fabrication, and power generation.
The collaboration with Verlinde introduces the Stagemaker product line to the GCC market.
Stagemaker hoists are intended for use in event rigging and show production, for theatres, concert halls, corporate events, and TV studios.
The hoists are compact, quiet, and adhere to high safety standards, with lifting capacities ranging from 250kg to 2,000kg.
They feature a compact and lightweight design, making them easy to transport and install.
Stagemaker hoists operate quietly, making them ideal for live performance settings, and come with IP55 protection for indoor and outdoor use.
Additional features include accurate load handling, a double brake option for safety, and compliance with DGUV V17/18 safety requirements.
As the official Stagemaker dealer, Lootah Lemmens will provide sales and support for all Stagemaker models, with local inventory in the UAE for quick delivery.
The company will offer in-house technical advice, installation support, and annual maintenance contracts, ensuring full service for long-term projects and fixed installations.
Stagemaker hoists are already popular in Europe and the US and will now have local support in the GCC region through Lootah Lemmens.
Recently, Lootah Lemmens delivered and installed a five-ton single-girder overhead crane at a metal fabrication facility in the UAE.
The crane, customised for industrial handling, is set to significantly enhance the internal logistics and handling within the plant, optimising the movement of fabricated metal parts.
