Schmalz jib crane

German vacuum handling equipment manufacturer J Schmalz has launched an articulated jib crane. The crane is intended to help customers use vacuum-handling technology to load and unload metal-cutting machines from the side. Installed with the VacuMaster VM 500, the crane can handle parts weighing up to 500kg within a 20m2 working area. Lifting speeds are 4m/min and 8m/min up to a maximum height of 1.7mm. Overall crane height is 3.6m. Total weight is 800kg. A friction clutch guards against overload.
