Verlinde Lifting Equipment partnered with Netherlands-based Mennens Group has successfully a project involving the delivery of new cranes to Dutch railway’s maintenance division NedTrain.
The cranes incorporate hoists manufactured by Verlinde Lifting Equipment, which are designed to support operational efficiency and dependability during maintenance activities.
Verlinde confirmed the development in a LinkedIn post: “We are proud to share that Mennens Amsterdam has recently delivered new cranes to NedTrain.”
“These cranes are equipped with Verlinde Lifting Equipment hoists, ensuring top-level performance and reliability. A great collaboration in support of rail mobility!”
Verlinde, based in France since its founding in 1858, designs and manufactures a variety of lifting and material handling products such as electric hoists, winches, and cranes.
Its portfolio covers 30 categories of lifting equipment with capacities ranging from 60kg to 250,000kg.
Mennens has operated for more than 135 years as a supplier of steel cable solutions and safety equipment for lifting, hoisting, and work at heights.
The recent delivery demonstrates the ongoing cooperation between Verlinde and Mennens in providing equipment for industrial clients such as NedTrain.
Earlier this year, CIC ORIO, a part of Verlinde SAV and Europont in France, completed a project involving the delivery and installation of a 10t VT3 hoist.
This hoist was added to an existing overhead travelling crane that already had the same model of hoist in operation.
Last month, Verlinde’s Malaysian distributor VME Material Handling supplied a 160/30/10t overhead crane system to a client.
