The DGUV is a Germany-based association covering accident insurance institutions for the industrial and public sectors, and a leading certification association in Europe.
Certifying the products include verifying the materials and dimensions, performing tensile and fatigue tests, and completing product-specific checks such as bending, latch lock and latch strength tests. Results are compared with those specified in the EN 1677 standard.
