Unisign Machine Tools has raised the lifting capacity of its UNICOM machine by relocating an overhead crane within its production area.
The adjustment now allows the company to handle items weighing up to 8,000kg.
The internal relocation was carried out under the supervision of ELMEC, with a truck-mounted crane and logistical support provided by Louis Huys Speciaaltransport en Kraanverhuur.
According to Unisign, ELMEC tested and approved the installation to ensure it meets safety and operational standards.
Unisign supplies both standard and customised machines designed for use in sectors including energy, logistics and machine construction.
The product range comprises various machine models and packages that include tools, clamping equipment and machining software.
The company’s UNITWIN CNC machine is used by manufacturers for producing more than two million front axles per year.
Other Unisign models such as Uniport6000 and Uniport7000 are employed in applications including bogie and wheel production, weld preparation, and wheel carrier machining.
Unisign claims that its equipment is installed at facilities across Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
