The free course was held in conjunction lifting and materials handling accessories manufacturer Crosby Group at the Mermaid Event Center. Topics included risk management, basic rigging plans, basic rigging principles and load control, application of hardware, inspection of hardware and application of slings.
“Sharrow has made a significant commitment to lifting product awareness training,” said president Bob Downs. “Our customers find our training sessions extremely valuable and moreover necessary to meet OSHA requirements.”
The event was followed by a tour of Sharrow’s new facility in New Brighton, including witnessing product destruction testing, and a “special recipe” Cajun shrimp boil.
