The branch was opened to service customers situated in southern Britain.
Red Rooster has been supplying pneumatic lifting equipment for purchase and hire for over 19 years. The equipment, with lifting capacities ranging from 250kg to over 75t, is used in all types of engineering and construction projects, “where high duty ratings, ease of installation and reliability are demanded,” it said.
In certain configurations, lifting gear is also certified for installation in hazardous areas such as chemical plants or offshore installations. The product range also includes:
– powered and manual industrial winches
– specialised crane systems
– load measuring systems
The West Bromwich branch carries new and hire stock, and provides after sales service and support for the entire product range.
John Evans, sales and marketing director, said: “Red Rooster has always been committed to giving lifting equipment companies throughout the UK the best possible response in terms of pricing and delivery. However, being based north of Aberdeen, the board of directors realised that having a branch in central England would improve delivery times for the sale or rental of stock items and servicing of equipment,” he continued.
Evans added that the success of the West Bromwich branch has been due to the efforts of Andy Palmer (branch manager) and his team, plus the staff and workforce based at Aberdeen who oversaw the training and set up of the facility.
