The status enables Irugasa to produce and supply bespoke radio control solutions – particularly, complex console box radio controls – directly from its UK-based facility.
Irugasa has provided radio remote control expertise to the UK market for over 25 years, previously as the UK arm of the Spanish radio control manufacturer, Ikusi. Following the 2018 acquisition of Ikusi by Danish multinational Danfoss Group, Irugasa became a key distributor of Danfoss Power Solutions products.
Fabio Cavallini, the senior business development manager of Danfoss Power Solutions’ remote controls business, along with technical and sales colleagues, visited Irugasa’s UK offices and formally opened the new Build Centre facilities.
Michael Ainsworth, Irugasa marketing director, said: “In real terms, this major investment in our new UK Build Centre allows us to further reduce our already comfortable lead times for engineered radio controls.
“By utilising Danfoss production and quality procedures, coupled with our expertise and knowledge, Irugasa now offers enhanced customer-centric solutions backed up by our market-leading technical and service support.”
