The course, which aimed to meet the growing demand for specialised training services in the live events sector, covered a variety of basic rigging techniques and provided practical knowledge of the latest stage rigging technologies.
Subjects covered included staging risk assessment, rigging basics, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hoist technology and controllers. It also included practical workshops focusing on the latest trussing technologies.
The programme culminated with an exam on the final day, providing participants with an opportunity to test the knowledge acquired over the previous four days.
