The crane will be equipped with DynAC Inverter control on the hoist and cross travel while, at the same time, the long travel will be upgraded to DynAC inverter control, giving the operator the benefit of “precise and variable speed operation,” according to Konecranes.
The contract, worth around £130,000, will be carried out in December this year.
