Mechanical and industrial engineering company JK Lifting Equipment has confirmed installation of a new 12.5t overhead crane at its facility.
Details regarding the exact facility location has not been provided by the company, however JK Lifting operates in Newcastle and Port of Blyth, UK.
The crane was supplied by Street Crane to replace an existing unit that was not repairable.
The team removed the out-of-service crane before completing the installation and commissioning of the new system.
Through a LinkedIn post, JK Lifting Equipment sales representative said: “New Street 12.5 tonne overhead crane supplied, installed and tested by our team here at JK Lifting Equipment.
“We firstly removed an existing overhead crane that was beyond repair ready for this new install. Well done to the team involved!”
The company supports customers with services that include on-site rigging, lifting equipment supply from stock, vessel mobilisation, testing and bespoke manufacture.
