The Langenfeld, Germany factory of mobile crane manufacturer Manitowoc Grove has received a Vetter Rotomax load turner.
Mobile crane booms need to be turned during manufacture and repair to gain access for remachining, welding or alignment work. Such work is difficult with crane booms, which are both long and heavy.
The Rotomax can be used by only one operator to turn the load smoothly. A 5t capacity load turner costs about Euro 5,000.
