The five Australian lifting and rigging businesses acquired by Axel Johnson International last year have been brought together under its international Certex brand, making the new entity one of the largest lifting equipment and service companies in Australia.

The Rigging Shed, Lifting Victoria, Elevate Lifting and Rigging, Schillings Hoisting Equipment, and On Call Lifting will go by the name of Certex Lifting and be a part of Axel Johnson International’s Lifting Solutions arm.

The launch of Certex Lifting will bring together 125 employees and ten sites across Australia. The national roll-out of the brand commences this November and will promote ‘Lifting KnowHow’, expertise and services to clients nationwide.

“We are excited about this opportunity to build and grow as Certex Lifting here in Australia,” said Steven Flint, managing director of the newly named business. “Our customers will benefit from our service-orientated philosophy, combined with the strength of a national footprint and international backing.”

Certex Lifting will look to introduce new product names to the Australian market through supply chain diversification and will continue collaborating on national operational initiatives and marketing campaigns
