Estonia-based EKVCRANES has secured a contract with real estate development and construction company Kaamos Ehitus to deliver an overhead crane fleet.
The delivery is scheduled for summer 2026 for the new Multimek office and production facility.
The contract covers four overhead cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 20t and fitted with two 10t Street Crane’s ZX hoists.
Two of these cranes are designed to operate in tandem, allowing both to be managed from a single remote-control system when moving larger components.
The company said: “We signed a contract with Kaamos Ehitus to supply an overhead crane fleet for the new Multimek office and production building.
“Thanks to Kaamos Ehitus and Multimek for the collaboration!”
The first generation of the Street ZX electric wire rope hoist was introduced in the late 1990s.
According to information from Street Crane, the ZX hoist includes several features such as an extra hoist brake for safety, no external hoist gears, a hand brake release, a system to prevent slack rope failures, specific electrical protection measures, variable speed drive, and an external hoist motor designed for heavy use.
EKVCRANES has been operating since 1991 and manufactures industrial cranes and supplies lifting solutions primarily to customers in the Baltic and Nordic regions.
The company provides both standard crane models and systems tailored to specific operational needs.
Its services include installation, equipment testing, ongoing maintenance, repairs, defect inspection, technical support for lifting systems, alternative solutions for specialised requirements, as well as certification and training.
