Darusín Szerviz, a crane service provider based in Budapest, has installed an overhead crane using Street Crane hoist technology in the production hall of a longstanding Hungarian manufacturer.
The installation forms part of efforts to update existing production facilities with modern lifting equipment, aiming to achieve increased efficiency without major disruption to ongoing operations.
The project involved fitting new crane equipment into a building constructed several decades ago. Darusín Szerviz Kft. faced the task of integrating advanced crane technology with minimal impact on existing workflows or downtime.
The company stated that the project shows modern lifting technology can be integrated into existing environments with minimal disruption.
The newly installed overhead crane utilises a hoist solution supplied by Street Crane, the UK’s largest overhead crane and hoist manufacturer.
Street Crane, established in 1946, produces over 2,500 hoists annually at its facility in the UK and works with over 90 partners in 48 countries. The firm has supplied more than 100,000 overhead cranes worldwide and offers a range of hoist types to accommodate varying requirements.
The company aims to provide cost-effective and innovative solutions for both new investments and the modernisation of existing systems.
The Budapest-based company provides services including distribution, manufacture, installation, inspection and maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment. Since its founding in 2017, Darusín Szerviz has worked on both new installations and upgrades for established facilities.
Street Crane’s product range includes wire rope hoists, chain hoists and other materials handling equipment with lifting capacities from 125kg up to 250 tonnes.
