France-based equipment supplier BADT Levage has announced the installation of new double monorail structure and hoists at an unnamed customer’s site.

The equipment is intended at increasing efficiency and safe material handling operations at the client’s location.

The company is based in Le Grand-Quevilly within the Rouen metropolitan area and focuses on the study, construction, compliance, and upkeep of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

BADT Levage provides equipment such as custom and standard overhead cranes with capacities ranging from 500kg to 80t, and spans from 3m to 35m.

Its product lineup also includes gantry cranes, semi-gantry cranes, jib cranes, chain and wire rope hoists, and monorails.

In addition to manufacturing and installing prefabricated metal structures and crane runways, BADT Levage carries out geometry checks on overhead cranes.

BADT Levage is part of the Verlinde Lifting Equipment after-sales service network. It distributes spare parts for Verlinde hoists in the Normandy region, which includes Seine-Maritime, Eure, Calvados, Manche, and Orne.

Recently, the company reported the construction of a double girder overhead crane with a 25t capacity at a partner customer site.

The crane uses a hoist from Verlinde.
