France-based equipment supplier BADT Levage has completed the assembly of two overhead cranes, each with a capacity of 1t and a span of 5.5m, at an undisclosed client’s site.
According to the company, the installation is intended to improve handling and lifting processes and has been specifically tailored to suit the needs of the location.
The company said: “This installation makes it possible to optimise handling and lifting operations, while precisely meeting the needs of the site.

Based in Le Grand-Quevilly in the Rouen metropolitan area, BADT Levage specialises in the study, construction, regulatory compliance, and maintenance of overhead cranes and associated lifting equipment.
The business supplies both custom and standard cranes, with capacities ranging from 500kg to 80t and spans between 3m and 35m.
Alongside overhead cranes, BADT Levage’s product range includes gantry cranes, semi-gantry cranes, jib cranes, chain and wire rope hoists, and monorail systems.
The company also provides manufacturing and installation services for prefabricated metal structures and crane runways, as well as performing geometry checks on overhead cranes.
BADT Levage is a member of the Verlinde Lifting Equipment after-sales service network, through which it distributes spare parts for Verlinde hoists in the Normandy region.
Its service area extends across departments including Seine-Maritime, Eure, Calvados, Manche, and Orne.
In November 2025, BADT Levage installed a double monorail structure and hoists at a customer site.
The equipment has been designed to support efficient and safe material handling operations at the facility.
