Thermo Nobel has updated its hazardous area transmitter to meet the latest European regulations and to make it more accurate.
The BILT 4 us a two wire transmitter approved to EEx ia IIc T4 for use in Zone 1 hazardous areas. It is designed for use with strain gauge based force and pressure transducers.
Unlike the predecessor BILT-3-HF, the BILT 4 is designed to meet the new ATEX directive when it is introduced, and it has a linearity correction function which improves accuracy, the company says.
