Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea has won a $36m order for six large container cranes from US ports.
Philadelphia Port Authority ordered two cranes and South Carolina’s port authorities ordered four cranes, including two on option, for post Panamax class 22-row cranes. They can load or unload large container ships with a capacity of up to 12,000 TEUs.
In 1999, Hyundai delivered four container cranes to South Carolina.
