OptiCrib is an automated inventory management system for a company’s storeroom, warehouse, outdoor trailer, or supply closet that uses machine learning algorithms, computer vision cameras and other proprietary sensors to track every item taken from its shelves. This transformative technology allows employees to ‘grab and go’ without scanning, written forms, no RFID tags or direct interface with personnel.

Based in Cincinnati, F&M Mafco is an international tool and equipment rental, sales and service company with operations across the United States. Customers are in the power generation, manufacturing, petrochemical, chemical, bridges, marine and offshore, pulp & paper and mining sectors.

In March, the company opened a facility in Kansas City, Missouri, three months after the opening of its Evansville, Indiana facility.

Fries said at the time, Kansas City gives the firm an ‘important foothold in the region as it grows its strategic tool management programs across both its current and prospective customer bases’.

Both its StrikeForce and NEXT S.T.E.P complete tool management outsourcing programs continue to grow.
