A new line of corrosion-resistant stainless steel jib cranes, designed to reduce the potential for flaking paint contaminating critical processing environments, have been added to the product range of US manufacturer David Round.

Available in wall-mounted or free-standing configurations, they have a standard lifting capacity of 2t. The company says that the cranes can withstand aggressive cleaning compounds, below-zero temperatures, and exposure to hot vapours such as steam.

Typical applications might be pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food or silicon processing environments. Optional features include food grade and clean room hoists, stainless steel cable reels and custom mounting configurations.
