Called Port Services Advisor, the smart tool enables crane owners to find the services that are available for their specific cranes, and receive recommendations based on the type of crane and its condition and location.

From upgrades and retrofits to region-specific services, the tool gives customised advice and is quick and easy to use

Users have to fill in a few pieces of crane information – such as their type of crane and whether it’s a Konecranes product or not, and how many cranes they have and their age – and the Port Services Advisor directs them to the right place for more information, in the shape of another area of the website or a downloadable brochure.

Konecranes said the tool, that was launched in the autumn, has the benefit of providing customers with accurate, up-to-date upgrade information and informing them of the newest services available for their cranes.
