France-based Manut Services has replaced an old hoist with a new 2.5t VT1 birail wire rope hoist from Verlinde Lifting Equipment at an undisclosed customer site in the Tonnerois region.
The replacement involved removing the old hoist and fitting the new Verlinde model on an existing double-girder overhead crane.
Technicians from Manut Services managed the removal of the previous hoist trolley and carried out the installation of the current unit.
After placement, the team completed all necessary electrical and mechanical connections and made adjustments as required.
The system was tested by Manut Services and an independent inspection body before the equipment was returned to service.
The Verlinde VT wire rope hoist installed at the site is specified for heavy lifting needs, with fast lifting speeds and compact hook approach distances.
Technical features of the hoist include a galvanised steel wire rope, rotating hook and pulley block fitted with a safety latch, improved motor cooling, and an overload limiter as standard.
Manut Services is based in Monéteau and operates as an authorised Verlinde after-sales service centre.
